Challenge of Family Photography Made Simple!

Ever try to get everyone together for a family photo? This can be so exhausting that you may say it's not worth it but you could be wrong. What better gift idea than to have a family photo that is beautifully framed. Here is an idea that is less frustrating. Don't try coordinating everyone's schedule and start snapping those pictures when your family is already gathered at Thanksgiving!

What better time for a photo session than when your family is already dressed up and in great spirits after a delicious meal. You can capture candid shots or have a neighbor take a large group photo. If you are recruiting the neighbor, you might want to invite them over for dessert and be sure to take photos of them as a reminder of how thankful we are to have such great neighbors!

Don't limit yourself to just indoor pictures, if weather permitting, go outside. Fall Foliage is free and what better back drop is the great outdoors? You will be surprised at how non-intimidated everyone will be with a little fresh air. So get your camera ready and maybe even plant a few outside props while the weather is still good.

Just a little early but better prepared than not!

Color Saver Tips

One of the colors (cyan, magenta or yellow) will run out first. The cost of a color inkjet cartridge is normally $5 or more than your black ink cartridge. Therefore, it is important to conserve color printer ink whenever you can. You would think that all the colors would be evenly used during the print cycle, however, this is not the case. Here are just a few tips to conserve your color ink.

  • Print in Draft mode- Draft mode prints in lighter tones, allowing your printer to use much less color printer ink than it otherwise would. Unless your document needs to be of the highest quality, consider using draft mode to conserve both black and color ink cartridges.
  • Use black for black- Nothing uses color printer ink faster than printing in black. If your black ink cartridge runs out, your printer will automatically use your color ink cartridge to make black ink. Check your black ink cartridge frequently to ensure you use as little color printer ink as possible.

Unfortunately, all your conserving efforts will not stop your color printer ink from running out.

So looking at compatible inkjet cartridges is another way of saving money on your everyday printing needs.

Ink and Toner Cartridges..How’s that work?

Without getting soooo technical and keeping it simple, here it goes.

Inkjet printers, such as Canon, Epson and Hewlett Packard to name a few are thermal inkjets. Inside the cartridge, the ink is heated. A signal is giving to the printer, and electricity warms it up, and ink droplet drop from the cartridge nozzle onto the paper. The entire process takes a matter of seconds.

Cartridges perform this function over and over again, but over time and usage the cartridge runs out of ink and it is time to replace that cartridge.

Question is; do you replace it with an OEM Brand cartridge or a compatible?

Simply replace the cartridge with a high-quality, compatible version-it's the smarter thing to do. Not to mention the cost savings. Everyone wants to save money.

Toner for fax machines, copiers, and laser jet printers, is a carbon-based powder. Using the same principal the transfer of the toner to the paper is created by heat and is more permanent on the paper.

Again, you have come to the end of your toner….. now what shall you do?

Hate to repeat myself again but, simply replacing the cartridge with a high-quality; compatible version-it's the smarter thing to do. Not to mention the cost savings. Everyone wants to save money.

The best toner for the price is compatible and your savings over that of the manufacturers is proof that you will be saving money and not “compromising your quality of print”.

Our customers report a high-level of satisfaction when using our compatible printer ink or toner. We are consistently maintaining the highest level of quality assurance on all of our compatible ink and toner cartridges.

Purchase Less-Buying Cartridges

There is no way of getting around the fact that printer ink is expensive, and with the amount that we all use black ink cartridges for documents, black printer ink especially can be costly. However, there are a few ways for you to conserve your black printer ink and help you save money.

  • Print what you need- Instead of printing an entire document, highlight only the areas you need. Then, when you select print, check the “Selection” box before continuing with your printing.
  • Print in Draft mode- Unless you need your document to be of the highest quality for a presentation, consider printing in Draft mode. Draft mode will print your documents lighter and significantly reduce the consumption of black printer ink.
  • Use Print Preview- Before you finalize your printing, ensure you are only printing the pages you want by selecting Print preview. This option will show you exactly what pages are being printed and will help you greatly reduce the amount of black printer ink you use.

We have given you suggestions that will help you conserve the amount of black printer ink you use. Unfortunately, even using these helpful tips, black printer ink can still be a costly expense.
